Mumbai : After the consolidation of Dentsu Aegis Network under the leadership of Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO South Asia, the company has announced a new executive council in India. This is in line with the company’s principle of One P&L (profit and loss) and the expanded executive council is expected to drive the group’s business in India.
The council includes heads of the Dentsu Aegis Network companies in India and is chaired by Bhasin. The company has 1700 employees across 7 cities and 15 companies in India.
The new members in the executive council include Anand Bhadkamkar (Group Finance), Dimple Maheshwary (HR), Divya Karani (Dentsu Media), Simi Sabhaney (Dentsu Communications), Makato Nakao (Japanese International Clients), Kartik Iyer (Carat), Haresh Nayak (Posterscope), Sidharth Rao (Dentsu Webchutney), Narayan Devanathan (Dentsu Creative Impact), Shamsuddin Jasani (Isobar), Vivek Bhargava (iProspect), Nabendu Bhattacharyya (Milestone Brandcom), Rajiv Dingra (WAT Consult), Umesh Shrikhande (Taproot Dentsu), S. Yesudas (Vizeum) and R. Ravishankar (psLIVE) and C.P Arora will be a special invitee.
“We want to offer our clients all the benefits of specialisation without the hassles of silos and our unique One P&L structure enables us to do so. Consequently, the Executive Council has the important role of capitalising on this advantage. By Dec 2017 we aim to be the top 2 (advertising groups), which will be a mandate for this council,” Ashish Bhasin said.
