WPP’s GroupM has named David Grabert as its new director of corporate communications, a role which will see him lead GroupM’s media investment, data and technology strategy on behalf of agencies and clients.
Making the move from Clear Channel Outdoor, where he led corporate communications for its Americas division, Grabert will be based in New York and report directly to Elizabeth McCune, global head of marketing, communications and business development.
McCune said: “Having David in this important role shows GroupM’s commitment to being a vocal industry leader.”
Grabert arrives following a 15 year career in the sector with a CV spanning time spent at Cox Communications, Comcast and Canoe Ventures, gaining particular expertise in the fields of data, privacy and anti-piracy.
