New Delhi : Trivone, India’s premier digital content services company, today announced the appointment, as head of media services, of Prasanto K Roy. Roy was president and chief editor at the Delhi based technology media house CyberMedia, and has over two decades of experience in the field of tech journalism and content creation.
Roy will look after the media properties of Trivone, such as www.techtree.com, cxotoday.com, channeltimes.com, besides the non-IT media properties of the company.
Roy is a digital and media consultant and technology analyst and writer. He has written for many Indian and global news organizations, including BBC News, Al Jazeera, IANS, and major Indian newspapers. He is a frequent expert panelist on technology shows and juries for NDTV and other channels, and for industry associations and foundations such as Nasscom, FICCI, DEF and others. In the twenty+ years of writing, Roy has been hailed as one of the finest technology writers in the country and is also an early mover in the area of digital journalism and digital content creation.
In recent years Roy has also been active on green building and energy forums, with organizations such as TERI. His South Delhi home, Green One, is India’s first certified green home, with a SVAGRIHA five star rating.
Roy is a major in physics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi.
