New Delhi : Big FM has once again come on board as the official radio partner for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. In a bid to enhance its offerings through exclusive on air content and off air initiatives, the station has announced an interactive property christened ‘Cricket Ka Big Headquarter’ with Virendra Sehwag and Harsha Bhogle.
Elements will begin from February 8, 2015, leading into the World Cup on February 14, and then until the end of the World Cup. With this, the stage is set for an aural experience across Big FM’s 45 station FM network.
As per the Big FM will carry out extensive marketing across on ground, digital and social media, which includes games, trivia, picture updates and quizzes to ensure high engagement. Big FM RJs will also visit residential welfare associations to engage with audiences to create excitement and awareness of the radio station’s property, ‘Cricket ka Big Headquarter’.
The station has also partnered with PLUGGD Radio in the digital space to launch a mobile app for ‘Cricket Ka Big Headquarters’. The app will enable listeners to engage with RJs through chats and participate in contests and polls, besides giving regular updates.
Moreover, exclusive content will be provided throughout the season ranging from match updates, trivia, behind the scene stories, game analysis and celebrity interactions. Cricket expert Harsha Bhogle will give pre and post match analysis. Six winners across India will be selected, basis performance in quizzes and contests on air, who will travel to Australia and watch the grand finale live, while also reporting for Big FM from down under. This will be judged by Virender Sehwag.
