Mumbai : Scarecrow Communications has bagged the creative duties of online grocery retailer, Localbanya.com, the wins comes with in short span of the agency winning the account of ‘Wagh Bakri Tea” last month.
The agency won the account following a multi-agency pitch that went on for around two months.

Started by Mehrotra, Amit Naik and Rashi Choudhary LocalBanya aims to combine the warmth and familiarity of a local grocery store with the convenience and competitive pricing of an e-commerce market place. The company raised its first level of funding from the Karmvir Avant Group and BCCL’s Springboard fund. Currently, Localbanya delivers within Mumbai but has plans to expand to 8-10 cities within two to three years.
