New Delhi : BBC India has roped in Tejash Kothari as marketing manager for BBC.com, World News and World Services.
Kothari was heading the marketing function for DNA, the Maharashtra-based English daily, owned by Diligent Media. Just a week ago, he had quit from the newspaper where he spent over four-and-a-half years. He had joined DNA in July 2010.
At DNA, Kothari was responsible for national marketing, brand management, product management, build loyalty – reader connect and engagement, strategic and tactical alliances and create and manage intellectual properties for brand.
He led several brand campaigns and activities such as the launch of the Weekly Brand Page, Be Polite Campaign and News for Busy Indian campaign.
Kothari has been in the industry for over a decade and worked at brands such as Kewal Kiran Clothing, Gini and Jony, Texport Garments and DNA in different marketing functions.
