Mumbai: Zomato’s Chief Operating Officer, Rinshul Chandra, has stepped down from his role at the food delivery major. According to the company’s filing with the stock exchange, Chandra submitted his resignation on April 5, with April 7 being his final working day.
Chandra, who has been with Zomato for several years, played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s operations during a transformative phase of rapid growth. His leadership is widely credited with driving operational efficiency and enabling Zomato to scale across key markets.
In the exchange filing, Zomato confirmed that Chandra will be pursuing new professional opportunities.
His departure comes shortly after Zomato’s recent rebranding to Eternal Ltd., a move aimed at restructuring and streamlining the company’s growing portfolio. Under the Eternal Ltd. umbrella, the group now operates four core brands: Zomato (food delivery), Blinkit (quick commerce), Hyperpure (B2B supplies), and District (a dining out network).
The company has yet to announce a successor for the COO role.
