Mumbai: Grey has announced the appointment of Harsh Kapadia as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Grey India. A Mumbai-born creative leader with extensive global experience, Kapadia joins from MRM New York, where he served as CCO since 2021. Based in India, he will report to Grey’s Global Chief Creative Officer, Gabriel Schmitt.
This strategic hire reinforces Grey’s commitment to strengthening its creative capabilities in India, leveraging Kapadia’s unique blend of local expertise and international best practices. His appointment marks a return to the WPP network, having previously held leadership roles at VML and JWT.

Kapadia will work closely with Anusha Shetty, CEO of Grey India, to drive the agency’s next phase of growth across its Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore offices. Their shared focus will be on delivering high-impact, culturally relevant creative solutions that also achieve global resonance.

Leadership Transition
Kapadia’s appointment follows the departure of Sandipan Bhattacharyya, who is moving on to explore new opportunities after nearly a decade with Grey India.
