Mumbai: Flipkart has promoted Akash Jain to Director of Marketing, Head of Media. Previously serving as Head of Media – Associate Director, Akash has been a key contributor to Flipkart’s marketing and media strategies since joining the company in 2017.

With a career spanning over a decade, Akash has extensive experience in Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, and Digital Strategy. At Flipkart, he has played a pivotal role in leading media strategies across core commerce categories including Mobiles, Electronics, Appliances, Fashion, and Beauty, as well as new businesses such as Flipkart Minutes, Health, Fintech, and Grocery.
Before joining Flipkart, Akash held leadership roles at Odigma and was the Founder of ContestJunction.com, where he gained hands-on experience in the digital marketing space. His expertise in driving data-led media strategies and performance marketing has been instrumental in enhancing Flipkart’s brand visibility and customer engagement.
