Delhi: PhysicsWallah Limited (PW), an education company, has announced the appointment of Alifiya Nalwala as Group Head of Corporate Communications & Public Relations. With an extensive journalism career spanning over 19 years—primarily covering the education sector—Alifiya will lead PW’s communications strategy, ensuring cohesive messaging and stronger audience engagement.
Welcoming Alifiya to the team, Alakh Pandey, CEO & Founder of PhysicsWallah (PW), said, “Over the past few years, PW has aimed to grow across multiple segments. Alifiya holds a bachelor’s degree in mass media and a master’s degree in political science. Recognized for her impactful journalism, she received the Anupama Jayaraman Memorial Award for young reporters at the age of 24 and has since earned multiple accolades for her work in media and education reporting.
Before joining PW, Alifiya was a Senior Writer at The Ken and previously spent over eight years at The Indian Express as an Assistant Editor and Special Correspondent. She has also held key roles at DNA (Chief Reporter & Principal Correspondent), Mid Day, and HT Media, bringing with her deep expertise in media strategy, business communication, and education-focused storytelling.
