MUMBAI: Delhivery, a logistics service provider, has announced the appointment of Namita Thapar, Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited and Sameer Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of boAt Lifestyle as Non Executive Directors to the board of the company.
Mehta founded boAt in 2014 along with cofounder Aman Gupta and has led it to become a consumer wearable tech brandy. Prior to this, he had also co-founded and run Redwood Interactive, which owned ‘RedGear,’ a gaming brand in India.
Thapar is the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Pune. It has a presence in 70+ countries and an employee strength of over 10,000. She is the CEO of their India Business which is ~8000 cr in annual revenue. Prior to joining the family business, Namita worked for 6 years at Guidant Corporation, USA, in their business finance team. Namita is an MBA graduate from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She is one of the Sharks in the popular TV show “Shark Tank India”.
