Mumbai: Rajasthan Royals has appointed Soumyayan Roy as Head of Fan Loyalty & Membership, marking a strategic move to strengthen the franchise’s fan engagement initiatives.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Soumyayan shared, “I’m thrilled to join the leadership team of the inaugural IPL champions, Rajasthan Royals, as Head of Fan Loyalty & Membership. Prior to joining Rajasthan Royals, Soumyayan held key leadership roles at Air India, Spinny, MakeMyTrip, Vodafone, Tata Teleservices, Idea Cellular, and Whirlpool of India. Most recently, he served as Head of Marketing, Loyalty at Air India, where he played a pivotal role in customer engagement and retention strategies.
With over 11 years of experience, Soumyayan specializes in growth marketing, customer lifecycle management, brand strategy, social media marketing, and loyalty programs across industries such as e-commerce, travel, automotive, and telecom in both India and international markets.
In his new role, he will focus on enhancing the Super Royals fanbase, driving deeper engagement, and building innovative loyalty and membership programs to strengthen Rajasthan Royals’ connection with its supporters. His expertise is expected to further elevate the franchise’s fan-first approach ahead of the upcoming IPL season.
