Mumbai: Aashirvaad, a packaged atta brand, has taken a significant step towards empowering young female cricketers by launching the ‘Char Kadam Aage Cricket Camp’ in collaboration with UP Warriorz. This initiative aims to nurture talent and provide young girls with professional training across 12 districts in Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Allahabad, Varanasi, Noida, Meerut, Bareilly, Firozabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, and Saharanpur.
At the conclusion of the camp, two top-performing players from each city will get the exclusive opportunity to train with senior UP Warriorz players, allowing them to refine their skills and gain mentorship from professional cricketers.
Women’s cricket in India has witnessed remarkable growth, with increasing viewership and recognition on the global stage. This initiative aligns with Aashirvaad’s mission of ‘Raho Char Kadam Aage’, reinforcing its commitment to empowerment and skill development at the grassroots level.

As part of this partnership, UP Warriorz will be leading the cricket camps with structured training sessions for girls aged 10 to 16 years. The initiative is designed not only to enhance technical skills but also to build confidence and offer exposure to professional coaching techniques.

The cricket camp will offer a holistic experience, blending professional drills led by expert trainers with engaging activities. It will feature two dedicated zones, focusing on core cricketing skills like batting, bowling, fielding, and fitness exercises. Additionally, interactive sessions, including quizzes, freestyle performances, and fun challenges, will encourage teamwork, creativity, and confidence among participants.
