Mumbai: Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) has appointed Parinda Singh as Head of Marketing for its Hindi movies cluster and Sony Marathi, marking a significant leadership addition to the company’s marketing team.
Singh announced the development on LinkedIn, expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, “After years of consulting across sectors like fintech, OTT platforms, and digital native brands, I am ready to channel those learning to spark conversation, drive growth, and leave a lasting impact.”
Singh brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and brand communications, having worked with some of India’s leading media and entertainment companies. Prior to her appointment at SPNI, she served as the Marketing Head for Star TV Network’s Star Utsav and as Vice President of Marketing at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.
In addition to her leadership roles, Singh has held consulting positions with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd and Amazon Prime Video, where she contributed to marketing strategies for digital platforms and brands.
Her career also includes stints at notable organizations like Zoom TV, Lowe Lintas, Mudra Communications, and FCB Ulka, demonstrating her versatility across media, advertising, and brand management.
Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in business/commerce and an MBA in marketing and brand communications. Her extensive experience and academic background equip her with a strong foundation to lead SPNI’s marketing initiatives, particularly in driving growth and engagement across its Hindi movies cluster and Sony Marathi.
With her proven expertise in strategic marketing and brand-building, Singh’s appointment comes at an opportune time as SPNI continues to expand its portfolio and strengthen its position in the competitive entertainment landscape.
