Maharashtra: BIG FM, a radio network, is set to rekindle the magic of Marathi cinema with the third season of its celebrated show, BIG Marathi Bioscope with Subodh Bhave. Known for its captivating storytelling and unique insights into Marathi cinema, the much-anticipated season was launched at an exclusive press conference in Pune, featuring acclaimed actor and host Subodh Bhave.
Scheduled to premiere on 27th January, the show will air Monday to Saturday from 7 pm to 8 pm in Pune, and on Sundays from 7 am to 10 am in Pune and Mumbai. With its fresh and innovative approach, Season 3 promises to deepen the audience’s connection with Marathi cinema while celebrating its rich legacy.
Returning as the host, the versatile Subodh Bhave will guide listeners through the fascinating world of Marathi cinema, sharing rare anecdotes, highlighting iconic collaborations, and celebrating the industry’s timeless appeal. This season introduces a special ‘Jodi Special’ theme, spotlighting legendary on-screen duos and creative partnerships such as director-actor and singer-composer collaborations. Adding an interactive element, listeners can dedicate songs to their favorite stars, creating a closer bond between fans and the artists they admire.
