Mumbai: Ravin Group, a business conglomerate and a pioneer in sustainability initiative, celebrated its 75th anniversary in grand style at the Jio Convention Center. Themed “Taking a Sustainable India to the World,” the event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, Bollywood celebrities, and global business icons to mark the company’s enduring commitment to sustainability, innovation, and nation-building.
A major highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn as the face of Ravin Group’s 2025 World Environment Day campaign. Devgn unveiled the campaign poster, reflecting a partnership with the Bhamla Foundation to combat plastic pollution, raise environmental awareness, and champion sustainable practices across India.

The event saw a star-studded turnout, including Bollywood icons like Malaika Arora, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Sonu Nigam, and Shaan, alongside dignitaries like Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Maharashtra, and Ms. Pankaja Munde, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Animal Husbandry, Environment, and Climate Change.

Ravin Group’s 75-year journey has been marked by significant contributions to India’s infrastructure, including projects like Maha Metro Aqua Line and Mumbai Metro. Under Mr. Karia’s leadership, the company has spearheaded innovative solutions, such as offering XLPE cables at PVC prices, and played a pivotal role in advancing renewable energy.
The event also celebrated India’s transformation into the world’s fifth-largest economy, emphasizing initiatives like “Make in India,” “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” and “Gati Shakti” as pillars of progress.
Ravin Group presented sustainability awards to several distinguished individuals, including HH Brahmavihari Swami, Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, and Nadir Godrej, among others. A special posthumous honor was given to Rohit Patel, acknowledging his contributions to sustainability.
