Mumbai: 5paisa Capital Limited, a discount brokerage platform, has appointed Gaurav Seth as its Chief Executive Officer. This move aligns with the company’s vision to strengthen its offerings for traders and investors while enhancing its cutting-edge tech platform.
Gaurav Seth brings over two decades of expertise in financial services and technology, with experience spanning the US, India, and Southeast Asia. Before joining 5paisa, he served as the Chief Product Officer at Syfe, where he played a key role in positioning Syfe as a leader in the digital wealth space in Southeast Asia. Earlier, Seth was the Chief Business Officer at Paytm Money, where he was instrumental in establishing it as one of India’s top brokerages and mutual fund distributors. He has also led the digital transformation of Morgan Stanley’s wealth management business in New York and advised leading wealth managers on their digital strategies.
An alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering graduate from the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Seth is recognized for his innovative approach to integrating technology and financial services.
