Mumbai: Zee Media has appointed Aditya Tandon as its new Chief Brand Officer, effective January 15, 2025. The decision was approved by the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee, underscoring the strategic importance of this role. Zee Media has officially informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about Tandon’s induction as part of the company’s senior management team.
Aditya Tandon brings over 25 years of expertise in marketing and brand management, with a track record of success across diverse markets, including India, Nepal, Mauritius, and Canada. Recognized for his exceptional brand-building capabilities, he has spearheaded multiple launch and re-launch campaigns, blending innovative strategies with digital and technological interventions to deliver impactful results.
Throughout his career, Tandon has been celebrated for his contributions, earning over 100 accolades at prestigious platforms such as the Asian Television Awards and Promax. His thought leadership is well-regarded, with appearances as a speaker at various industry forums, where he shares insights on brand strategy and emerging marketing trends.
Aditya holds an impressive academic background, including a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Delhi University, a postgraduate diploma in international marketing from the Delhi School of Economics, and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from Carleton University, Canada.
Before joining Zee Media, Tandon served as Vice President of Brand Marketing at Network18 Media & Investments. In this role, he significantly enhanced the brand performance of the company’s Hindi news cluster through strategic re-launches and rebranding efforts, including the acclaimed rebranding of CNN-News18. His leadership in these initiatives garnered widespread industry recognition and firmly established him as a marketing innovator.
