Mumbai: Manish Kalra, the Chief Business Officer for Global Markets at ZEE5, has reportedly resigned from his position. According to sources, Kalra will serve a 90-day notice period before formally exiting the company.
During his tenure at ZEE5, which began in 2020, Kalra played a pivotal role in driving the platform’s growth, particularly in global markets. Recently tasked with overseeing ZEE5’s international business operations, Kalra brought a wealth of experience to the streaming platform, helping it expand its reach and influence in the digital entertainment sector.
A seasoned professional with over two decades of expertise in online business and marketing, Kalra’s career has spanned leadership roles across prominent organizations such as Amazon, MakeMyTrip, HomeShop18, Dell, and Craftsvilla. His roles have included Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Business Officer, and CEO, showcasing his versatility and impact in driving business transformation and growth.
Kalra holds an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier business schools, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
