Mumbai: Peppy, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand specializing in sexual wellness and pleasure, has officially launched in India. Founded by entrepreneurs Devansh Agarwal and Shyamal Gupta, Peppy enters the market with a mission to make sexual wellness a natural part of everyday life, offering accessible, affordable, and innovative products. The brand has been strengthened by the involvement of actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam, who joins as a co-founder and investor, bringing his extensive influence and relatability to the initiative.
Peppy aims to address the diverse needs of individuals, irrespective of age, body type, or orientation, by fostering open conversations and normalizing discussions about sexual pleasure. Bhuvan Bam’s involvement with the brand goes beyond a typical endorsement. As a co-founder and investor, he is deeply committed to driving the mission of creating a more inclusive and open environment for sexual wellness in India.
Peppy was founded in 2023 and remained bootstrapped until May 2024, when the company raised its pre-seed round from angel investors. The brand is now valued at INR 50 crore and has secured approximately US$500K in its pre-seed round from investors, including Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Raj (Founder and CEO of BBKV Productions), and Dr. Ruchi Gupta. Currently, the company is raising a seed round of US$1–2 million to expand its sales channels and market reach.
