Mumbai: TransUnion CIBIL, an insight and information company, has announced the appointment of Bhavesh Jain as the new Managing Director and CEO. Jain takes over the leadership from Mr. Rajesh Kumar, who recently resigned after five years at the helm. Kumar’s tenure was marked by significant milestones, including the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
TransUnion CIBIL’s Chairman, V Anantharaman, acknowledged Kumar’s contributions, stating, “Rajesh has communicated his decision to move on and take some time for himself and his family after a continuous 32-year career in financial services. We thank Rajesh for his significant contribution to TransUnion CIBIL’s evolution and respect and acknowledge his decision. The company has grown significantly under his leadership, and we wish him the very best as he embarks on his next phase in life.”
Bhavesh Jain, who previously served as the Chief Revenue Officer at TransUnion CIBIL for the past five years, steps into the role of Managing Director and CEO. With a career spanning several decades, Jain brings a wealth of experience in financial services, having previously worked at Thomson Reuters, Citi, and Kone. He holds a master’s in management studies from the Welingkar Institute of Management and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from VESIT, both from Mumbai University. Additionally, Jain completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
