Mumbai: IDFC FIRST Bank has unveiled a groundbreaking AI-powered holographic digital avatar of the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, marking a transformative milestone in customer engagement and digital innovation. This Holographic Extended Reality (HXR) device features touch capability, enabling users to interact directly with the digital avatar.
Currently, customers can engage with Mr. Bachchan’s digital avatar to access information about bank products and services, including Zero Fee Banking, Monthly Interest Credits, Mobile Banking, and the innovative Current Account BRAVO. The Bank plans to expand the avatar’s functionality by integrating additional product offerings in future phases.
The HXR device has been developed in collaboration with Ikonz Studios, a leading technology company. The content has been meticulously scripted to ensure both accuracy and engagement, redefining the banking experience with personalized assistance and an immersive service interface. This initiative underscores IDFC FIRST Bank’s digital-first philosophy and its commitment to innovation-driven customer-centric solutions.

The first device has been launched at IDFC FIRST Bank’s Juhu branch in Mumbai, with plans to deploy similar devices across high-footfall branches and other strategic locations nationwide.
