New Delhi: Admitad has announced the integration of fintech startup Cashli into its operations. With a focus on India as its primary market, Cashli has already garnered over 100,000 unique local partners earning commissions through the sale of products from banks and financial institutions, including credit cards, loans, and insurance services. To support this initiative, Admitad plans to invest $5 million in developing a dedicated business department.
The integration of Cashli will enable Admitad to cultivate a specialized product tailored to the needs of financial and insurance companies. It will also allow the company to engage new publisher segments, including insurance agents, call centers, and affiliates collaborating with these advertisers. Consequently, Admitad India will cease direct partnerships with these advertiser segments, consolidating them under the Cashli umbrella. This strategic shift is expected to enhance service quality and effectiveness in affiliate programs for both current and prospective advertisers in the financial sector.
India’s loan and insurance markets are witnessing steady annual growth of 25%, making them promising avenues for income generation. However, the unemployment rate in India reached 9.2% in June 2024, with young individuals and rural residents facing the toughest challenges in job hunting. These demographics often encounter limited job opportunities and lower wages.
Cashli views these challenges as opportunities for ordinary citizens in India. Thousands of partners currently earn commissions by selling financial products, but many experience delays in payments or face unreliable programs. Cashli aims to serve as a trustworthy partner for both aspiring sales agents and seasoned affiliates seeking improved service levels.
Notably, prospective partners do not need extensive financial expertise to collaborate with Cashli; individuals from various backgrounds, including chartered accountants, bank employees, or even those without formal qualifications, can participate. Basic training will be provided by the startup.
Cashli collaborates with prominent brands such as TATA Capital, ICICI Bank, Aditya Birla Capital, Care Health Insurance, and others. Partners can earn commissions for every successful action, such as issuing insurance policies or bank cards, with potential earnings reaching up to 4.5 million rupees monthly.
The Cashli platform supports both offline partners and affiliates, offering effective monetization strategies for YouTube creators, Telegram content providers, and other affiliate types, significantly broadening their income opportunities.
Neha Kulwal, Managing Director, APAC & India at Mitgo (owner of Admitad) and the newly appointed Head of Cashli, stated, “Our strategy is not only aimed at helping partners make money from selling financial products but also at creating tools for additional monetization for both NBFCs and services with an established audience. We aim for each service to integrate tools to sell insurance, credit cards, or loans, significantly boosting their revenues.”
Partners can sell products directly to customers or through an app or web service, with earnings quickly available for withdrawal within one business day. Cashli’s integration with Admitad also includes customer registration and authorization via Mitgo ID, ensuring a seamless transition for brands and publishers.
In addition to offering new earning opportunities for Indians, these products help address the high number of underbanked and unbanked individuals in the country. Cashli’s partners aim to enhance financial literacy and improve access to financial products, even in the most remote regions of India, ultimately enabling financial organizations to reach previously untapped client bases.
