Gurugram: Truecaller, a global communications platform, has appointed Seema Jindal as the Head of Public Affairs, Telecom in India. Seema joins Truecaller after a distinguished 25-year career at Airtel, where she held several key roles in regulatory affairs, interconnection, and compliance across various telecom business units.
Most recently, she was the Head of Regulatory Affairs for DLT, DTH, Teleports, and VSAT, as well as the Head of Compliance and Audit for Regulatory. She played a crucial role in implementing a complex and innovative regulatory framework for telecommunications spam using Digital Ledger Technology. Her responsibilities included defining and interpreting intricate regulations, ensuring compliance across multiple business units, and managing relationships with regulators and licensors.
At Truecaller, Seema will collaborate closely with government ministries and agencies such as TRAI, DoT, and MEITY to secure regulatory and policy support for the company’s continued growth and innovation in India.
