Mumbai: India Global Forum (IGF), a leading platform for promoting India’s narrative and fostering global partnerships, has further enhanced its international presence by appointing Uday Karan Verma, a senior executive from the BBC, as President of Business Relations.
Verma joins IGF after over seven years at BBC India, where he served as Country Manager. He brings extensive expertise in developing business opportunities and building strategic alliances, which aligns with IGF’s growth strategy to strengthen its global influence. With more than two decades of experience at notable brands like BBC, Network18, and ESPN Star Sports, Verma has a proven track record in leadership and innovation.
During his time at the BBC, Verma was instrumental in launching BBC StoryWorks and spearheading initiatives like BBC Golf Connect and BBC Sportswomen of the Year, showcasing his strategic vision and ability to drive revenue and content initiatives.
