Mumbai: Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has promoted Krishna Khatwani to the position of Head of India Sales. Khatwani previously held the role of Head of Organised Trade – MT, E-commerce, Government, and Institutional Channels at the company and has been with GCPL since 2019.
On his LinkedIn profile, Khatwani expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “As I complete 5 years in Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, I am happy to share that I have been appointed as Head – India Sales at GCPL. This journey has been filled with growth, learning, and numerous milestones that have shaped me personally and professionally.”
Khatwani noted that this marks his fourth role within the company over the past five years, attributing his development to GCPL’s commitment to nurturing talent. He thanked his colleagues and leadership for their ongoing support and expressed excitement for the opportunities that lie ahead.
Before joining GCPL, Khatwani served as Head of Sales for India Business Unit at Kraft Heinz/Zydus Wellness from 2018 to 2019. His earlier experience includes significant marketing and sales positions at Reckitt from 2011 to 2018, and nearly four years at Marico. He began his career in 2007 as an Area Sales Manager for East MP & Chhattisgarh.
With over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, P&L management, and strategy, Khatwani holds an MBA in Marketing from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). His expertise in building strong stakeholder relationships is expected to be an asset in his new leadership role at GCPL.
