Mumbai: Leica India, known for its cameras and sports optics, has hosted an exclusive event at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, on September 27, 2024, to introduce Chef Ranveer Brar as the brand’s new ambassador. The evening celebrated Leica’s legendary craftsmanship while unveiling the Leica Q3 43, the latest addition to its distinguished camera lineup.
The event was a gathering of notable personalities, marking a significant moment for both Leica and Brar, who shares a deep connection with the brand’s ethos. Attendees at the event included prominent figures such as Ms. Latika Nath, Ashraf Abbas, Amit Asher, Larissa D’sa, Siddharth Kerkar, and Sooni Taraporevala, who experienced firsthand Leica’s renowned German craftsmanship.
The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the Leica Q3 43, which is priced at Rs 6,55,000. This camera features the newly developed APO-Summicron 43 f/2 ASPH. lens, renowned for its ability to mirror the natural perception of the human eye and produce distortion-free images. The Q3 43 promises extraordinarily sharp, high-contrast images across all lighting conditions.
Visually, the Leica Q3 43 sets itself apart with a new grey leather finish that elegantly contrasts the classic black body, honoring Leica’s iconic design. Despite the sophisticated construction of its lens, the camera remains compact and lightweight, making it an ideal companion for photographers seeking both portability and high performance. Its tiltable 3-inch high-resolution touchscreen adds flexibility for capturing unique perspectives in both photography and videography.
