Naturally, the overall top 5 of 2024 on the list were rounded off by some of the biggest global AI tools, which are Microsoft Copilot, GitHub, Google Gemini, Claude AI, and Microsoft PowerBI. Of these, Copilot, GitHub, and PowerBI also showcased a gain of over 1,000% this year in terms of actual online conversations, making them some of the fastest rising AI platforms in terms of online popularity. The presence of industry specific tools like GitHub and PowerBI also informs us that a large portion of these conversations involve specialists who likely have a strong familiarity with the industry and custom built AI platforms.

The largest growth in conversations among these in 2024 was seen for Programming Languages, up over 668% from its mentions over the previous year.
