Mumbai: Ultimate Table Tennis has partnered with Viacom18 for world-class action in UTT 2024. Scheduled in Chennai from August 22 to September 7, the event will be streamed on JioCinema and broadcasted on Sports18 Network for free.
In its second year of partnership, UTT and Viacom18 continue their successful collaboration from last season. The franchise league’s fifth season will feature 17 days of thrilling matches in English and Hindi, presented by JioCinema and the Sports18 Network, catering to table tennis and sports enthusiasts.
Launched in 2017 by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani under the Table Tennis Federation of India, UTT is now a highly popular global sports property, catalyzing Indian table tennis growth and aiding India’s historic Paris 2024 Olympics qualification.

Last season, the league had over 33 million viewers across 18 days on JioCinema and Sports18 Network. This year, UTT expands with eight teams including newcomers Ahmedabad SG Pipers and Jaipur Patriots, alongside PBG Bengaluru Smashers, Dabang Delhi TTC, U Mumba TT, Goa Challengers, Puneri Paltan Table Tennis, and Chennai Lions.
UTT expands Viacom18’s sports portfolio, featuring major events like Olympic Games Paris 2024, Diamond League, BWF tournaments, BCCI Cricket, IPL, WPL, SA20, Major League Cricket, and NBA.

In UTT 2024, 48 top paddlers, including Indian stars like Achanta Sharath Kamal, Manika Batra, and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, will compete alongside global players such as Bernadette Szocs and Quadri Aruna.
The Player Draft will take place in Mumbai on July 10.
