Mumbai: OTT platform Netflix has renewed ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ for a second season. The ongoing season featured guests, including actors Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and his family, cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, pop star Ed Sheeran. The finale takes place on 22 June.
Ranked among Netflix’s top two shows in India since its launch, The Great Indian Kapil Show is the first Indian series to stay on the Global Top 10 Non-English TV list for five weeks. Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur performed week after week. Archana Puran Singh helmed her ‘kursi,’ (chair).
