Mumbai: Goafest 2024, the premier advertising, media, and marketing festival in South Asia, is gearing up to unite industry leaders under the theme of ‘The Age of Adaptability’. Co-hosted by The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Advertising Club (TAC), Day 1 of the festival will showcase prominent experts delving into various facets of adaptation and innovation.
The festival will commence with keynote addresses from prominent figures in the industry. The opening session, titled “Adapt To Thrive Not Just Survive,” will feature Harit Nagpal, Managing Director & CEO of Tata Play, highlighting the significance of adaptability as a catalyst for thriving, not just surviving. Subsequently, a thought-provoking session on “Navigating The Age Of Adaptability” by Sanjiv Mehta, Executive Chairman of L Catterton India, will delve into the crucial elements of leadership, emphasizing vision, flexibility, and purpose within the swiftly evolving market terrain.
Thereafter, in an impactful session titled From Setbacks to Comebacks: The Power of Persistence, acclaimed Writer and Film Director Tahira Kashyapin conversation with Atika Farooqui, Anchor/ Creative Director, Viacom18 will captivatethe audiences with her inspiring journey, underscoring the transformative power of perseverance in turning obstacles into stepping stones.
Wrapping up Day 1 with a focus on the practical implications of adaptability, a session titled “Embracing Failure to Reach Success” will showcase Indian actress Medha Shankr and actor Vikrant Massey. Moderated by the versatile Actor, Producer & Entrepreneur Neha Dhupia, the session will feature Medha and Vikrant, renowned for their roles in the acclaimed film “12th Fail,” sharing their perspectives on embracing failure as a pathway to success.
The event on May 29-31, 2024, at The Westin Mumbai will feature inspiring speakers and sessions highlighting growth in adversity on Day 1.
