News18 regional channels lead the viewership on digital platforms during the 1st phase of elections.

News18 Bangla, News18 Odia, News18 Assam North East and News18 Gujarati language cluster channels have achieved exceptional performance on social media platforms during the election day. The four channels displayed brilliant coverage in the first phase of the election, highlighting the channel’s remarkable views and growing influence.

News18 Bangla secured a top spot with 9 million YouTube and 8 million Facebook views. This milestone outshined competitors  ABP Ananda having 7 million YouTube views and 4 million Facebook views while Republic Bangla with 5 million YouTube views and 2 million Facebook views.

News18 Odia took the lead with 8 million views on YouTube, establishing itself as the top performer on the social media platform. The numbers place News18 Odia ahead of its competitors with OTV 4 million and Kanak News with 2 million views.

News18 Assam Northeast Delivered an outstanding performance garnering 3 million views on YouTube. The channel outperformed both Newslive with 0.4 million views and DY365 with 0.3 million views.

News18 Gujarati attained the highest viewership on Facebook with 2.13 million views. The channel surpassed competitors, VTV Gujarati with 1.11 million views and ABP Asmita with 138K views.

The impressive performance of News18 language cluster channels credits its success to its updated programming strategy, prioritizing timely, authentic, and relevant news coverage.
