BJP state president and Coimbatore Lok Sabha candidate Annamalai has declared that following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the AIADMK will cease to exist.
As part of the ‘Jananayaga Peruvizha’ (Festival of Democracy) election awareness campaign organized by Puthiya Thalaimurai Television, a dedicated election bus is journeying through each Lok Sabha constituency. During this initiative, special interviews have been conducted with key leaders. Annamalai was interviewed aboard the campaign bus in the RG Pudur area within the Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency, where he sharply criticized the AIADMK.
Announcing that if given the opportunity, the BJP would eliminate Dravidian parties from Tamil Nadu, Annamalai emphatically asserted that no Dravidian party would remain after the 2024 elections. He noted public sentiments questioning the necessity of a party solely opposing the DMK in Tamil Nadu. Annamalai criticized AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palanisamy for his perceived arrogance and big brother attitude. Furthermore, he attributed BJP’s defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu to AIADMK’s corruption.
