MUMBAI: In order to capture the pulse of Gen Z, the young digital natives and content creators, Hunch, a social discovery app, has announced a Brand Ambassador programme to drive deeper awareness and engagement among college students. The programme will offer selected college students a chance to represent the brand while gaining marketing and growth experience. As Hunch Campus – Ambassadors, college students will get to demonstrate their social media, and influencer marketing skills by completing various creative tasks weekly focused on college life.
Hunch Campus Ambassadors will be entitled to an official experience certificate that adds value to their CV and opens up prospects for future growth and marketing roles. The top 10% of selected ambassadors based on the program leaderboard will get an opportunity for a paid internship or even placement at Hunch. Besides enhancing employability, top performers will also get exclusive mentorship workshops on marketing and brand-building from industry experts and senior Hunch leadership. Not only that, all participants will stand a chance to win Hunch merchandise and get declared influencers among their Gen Z peers.
The Brand Ambassador programme has been designed as a weekly cycle of activities that allows college students to apply themselves creatively in the real world while also making their college life more exciting. Ambassadors will engage in activities such as creating 3 college-related polls, sharing content on social media, and sharing content from Hunch’s official accounts. Participants will have to log their work in a Google form by Sunday midnight every week. Based on the entries and analytics, Hunch will publish a leaderboard by Tuesday with top brand ambassador performers based on engagement metrics like compliance with task lists, comments and votes on their polls, and app downloads driven through their promo link.
Students from any college can apply for this opportunity by filling out a form available on Hunch’s Instagram bio link. The selection criteria cover their college brand value, participation in extracurricular activities, social followers, and understanding of branding and influencer marketing activities. Shortlisted applicants have to appear for a 20-minute video interview.
Hunch added that it invites creative and socially active college students who can balance this part-time program along with their academic commitments to enroll for what could be an exciting and rewarding marketing journey ahead. Slots are open every month, allowing more students to participate over time in line with the brand’s expansion plans across campuses.
