Sonia Kapoor has joined Condé Nast India as the new Chief Business Officer. With a career spanning over 25 years in digital, print, and broadcast media, Kapoor will take charge of the sales teams in achieving advertising revenue targets and shaping the company’s sales and marketing strategy for business development.
Announcing the new appointment, the official handle of Condé Nast India shared, “Condé Nast India announces the appointment of SONIA KAPOOR as Chief Business Officer. In her new role, Sonia will be responsible for leading the Sales teams in defining and delivering on advertising revenue targets, while shaping the company’s sales and marketing strategy and business growth. She will play an integral role in the delivery of all commercial revenue including digital and print sales, branded content, social, video and events for the company. Sonia has over 25 years of experience and joins us from Zee Media’s Innovation Studio where she was the Head of Branded Content.”
Previously, Kapoor played leading roles as Business Head at The Focus Studio, Executive Vice President at Network 18, and led branded content monetisation strategy at Zee Media’s Innovation Studio.
With this remarkable experience, Kapoor is primed to drive commercial revenue across various platforms, such as digital, print, social, video, and events. She will be reporting directly to Sandeep Lodha, Managing Director of Condé Nast India.
