Affle India is expected to post overall revenue of INR 4,950 million in Oct-Dec, up 31.6 pc on year, led by the acquisition of YouAppi, said a note by Elara Securities. Organic revenue growth is seen at 13 pc on year, as emerging markets may show green shoots in ad growth due to the festive season.
In developed markets, organic revenue is expected to see some recovery – likely to be flat on year, as against an 18 pc year-on-year drop in Apr-Sep. YouAppi may contribute INR 700 million to Oct-Dec revenue, the brokerage said.
Revenue from developed markets may see a turnaround due to restructuring. The Real Money Gaming vertical played spoilsport for India revenue, but this has been more than offset by other verticals, it added.
Zomato
Zomato may report overall revenue of INR 31.1 billion in Oct-Dec, up 60 pc on year. Gross order value is expected to grow 25 pc on year and 95 pc on year in the food delivery segment and Blinkit, respectively, led by an uptick due to the festive season, Elara Securities said.
Revenue from food delivery, Blinkit and Hyperpure may grow 42 pc, 110 pc and 100 pc year-on-year. Expect higher year-on-year growth in food delivery revenue led by higher take rate expansion during the period under review due to the full impact of introduction of convenience fee of INR 3 per order, and better ad revenue, Elara added.
Zomato increased its per order convenience fee from INR 3 to INR 4 from January 1. The overall EBITDA margin may break even in Oct-Dec due to margin expansion in the food delivery segment, whereas cost control measures are underway in Blinkit, and the segment may turn profitable at the adjusted EBITDA level in the next few quarters, the brokerage said.
DB Corp
DB Corp is expected to report consolidated revenue of INR 6,432 million in Oct-Dec, up 9.7 pc on quarter and 14.0 pc on year. Print advertisement, radio advertisement, print circulation, and digital revenue to grow 15 pc, 10 pc, 12 pc and 10 pc, respectively, in Oct-Dec led by the festive season, Elara Securities said in its note.
Even though the radio medium has been struggling and remains the worst-hit in the post-Covid era due to consumers moving to the digital format, Entertainment Network is expected to report revenue growth of 10 pc on year in Oct-Dec due to the festive season. Radio revenue may see better recovery in Apr-Jun backed by the impact from election-related ad expenses, it said.
