In a survey among 1,000 people by natural and organic skincare D2C brand Earthraga, 95.4 pc of respondents said that sustainable products are a part of their skincare routine. Further, 84.6 pc respondents rated the importance of eco-friendly practices in skincare highly.
While 47 pc of respondents said they were willing to pay extra for skincare products with sustainable ingredients, 36.5 pc said they opt for budget-friendly skincare options.
According to 59.6 pc of respondents, skincare products are considered clean or free of harmful ingredients when they contain organic and natural ingredients.
50.1 pc said they prioritise cruelty-free skincare choices, with 49.2 pc emphasising the importance of official labels in their decision-making process.
40.6 pc of participants revealed that their primary focus when using organic skincare is to tackle acne-related concerns.
