Sun TV Network has donated 5 crores towards relief fund for the Michaung Cyclone. Kalanithi Maran, the Chairman and his wife Kaveri Kalanithi, the Executive Director of the broadcast network handed over the cheque to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin.
Earlier, the chief minister appealed to the public and business community in TN to generously contribute funds to rehabilitate the people devastated by the natural calamity.
Brands like TVS Motor Company and Ashok Leyland donated 3 crores each, while Lion Dates donated 50 lakhs towards cyclone relief to Chief Minister.
