Diwali is a time when we leave the doors and windows open to welcome the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Goddess Lakshmi. It is also a time when unwanted mosquitoes make their way into the house.
To address this, Mortein unveiled its Diwali campaign with the message that even if the doors and windows are kept open, the Mortien will keep the mosquitoes away. The campaign has been conceptualised by Havas Creative Network.
In the brand film, a mother is opening doors and windows and placing lamps around the house for Diwali. Her young son, perplexed at her doing so, asks why she is doing that when she keeps telling him to keep the doors and windows shut to keep out the mosquitoes. To this, she tells her son it is a tradition. And to keep out the mosquitoes, she shows him the Mortein vaporiser that will keep the family safe.
