Berger Paints has launched its Diwali campaign – ‘Chiku ki Painting’ – placing emphasis on colour blindness. The campaign has been conceptualised by Green Chutney Films.
In the film, a young Chiku loves to draw and paint. However, he has a unique way of looking at the world where the sun is pink and the trees are blue. Not everyone understands his perspective, and the boy faces disappointment as his teacher gives him a poor grade. His grandfather, seeing Chiku disappointed, not only frames his pictures, but gives him an A+ grade, making him happy again.
Manan Bhatt, Creative Director, Green Chutney Films, said, “I am so proud of the work done by our team on this campaign and how the campaign exudes not only of a fresh thought, which is often a challenge in such a cluttered market, but how beautifully brand Berger plays a role in telling of this story.”
Debayan Banerjee, Head of Digital, Berger Paints said, “We are extremely excited for this upcoming campaign! The excitement emerges from the new story and perspective which this campaign is trying to talk about and the innovative and warm integration the story does with the brand Berger and what it truly stands for.”
With ‘Chiku ki Painting’, Berger is calling for audiences to embrace diversity and foster inclusivity.
