News18 Kerala has announced that its ‘Malayali of the Year 2023’ awards, an event dedicated to honouring extraordinary contributions of individuals and organisations from the state of Kerala, will be hosted on November 2.
The event in Trivandrum will host Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan as the Chief Guest.
“News18 Kerala’s ‘Malayali of the Year’ award seeks to recognise people whose steadfast dedication has not only strengthened the foundation of our beloved state but has also propelled Kerala to new heights. The event will honour dynamic and powerful individuals who have dedicated their lives to making Kerala a better and stronger state, and thereby making India a greater nation,” informed an official statement on the awards.
Confirmed guests for the event include actor Revathi, singer KS Chithra, Lulu Group’s MA Yusuf Ali and singer MG Sreekumar, among others.
Winners will be honoured in nine categories: Literature, Sports, Traditional Malayali Brand, Music Icons, Malayali Voice, Cultural Icons, Inspirational Women, Global Malayali and Malayali of the Year.
The event will be aired live on News18 Kerala.
