Taking forward the campaign to promote its ‘Interest Matching’ feature on social media, Bharat Matrimony has launched a set of shorts for social media.
The spots have been created by Social Beat Films.
Live now on social channels like Instagram, the quirky films bring to life instances of mismatched interests, though by a narrow margin.
When a lady classical dancer strikes a pose that resembles a martial arts move, she is confronted by a young man who shares the interest – in martial arts, not dance. The funny sequence ends with the super highlighting the interest mismatch and pitching the brand’s feature.
A similar spot captures a female badminton player meeting someone with an interest in sport. Only, it is not badminton but cricket, leading to her disappointment.

Posting on LinkedIn about the campaign, Vikas Chawla, Co-founder of Social Beat, said, “The series of videos will be an extension to the #BeChoosy campaign focussing on the interest matching features of the platform. The intent is to use these not just in mid funnel but also for our bottom funnel campaigns to drive impact.”
