Taboola has announced the appointment of Kanika Mittal as Country Head for its Indian operations.
The former Country Head of Twitter in India served as Country Marketing Head for Reebok in an earlier assignment. She has also worked with Tata Teleservices early on in her career.
Taboola has tie-ups with publishers like India Today group, NDTV, Zee Group, The Indian Express, ABP and Network18 and makes content recommendations using AI to users across websites, devices and mobile apps. It completes 10 years in India this September.
“Kanika Mittal will head the responsibility for our Indian operations, with a primary objective of propelling revenue growth and solidifying our cherished partnerships. Furthermore, Kanika will take a central role in nurturing and expanding Taboola’s publishing partnerships in India, actively contributing to their trajectory. Her multifaceted responsibilities extend to elevating brand, reputation and culture with a focus on growth to contribute to the organisation’s overall success,” informed a company statement.
Mittal advocates for purpose-driven brands, founded D.E.A.R. Indiya, curated The Enchanted Festival of Stories and authored Amazon Bestseller ‘The Adventures of Sugi & the Banshee’, the statement added.
