Media Worldwide has launched ‘Woman TV’, billed as India’s first women-centric English general entertainment channel. The channel from the house of Travelxp went live on July 28, 2023.
On the launch, Shweta Nanda, Executive Producer, said, “Keeping up with premium quality that Travelxp, Foodxp and other brands of our network are known for, we are now bringing ‘Woman’, a premium English general entertainment channel. Viewers are always looking for consuming compelling content, and we are confident Woman would be their destination to get curated and entertaining English content spread across reality, cooking shows, drama, lifestyle, etc.”
Woman TV programmes are tailored to inspire, inform, and entertain, informed a channel statement. The content slate includes dramas like Dynasty and reality shows like Love Island, America’s Next Top Model and Temptation Island.
The channel has gone live with over 1800 hours of content and the tagline ‘Be Woman, Be Amazing’.
