Sudip Roy announced on LinkedIn that he has returned to TCM Sports as Executive Vice President. Roy brings with him over two decades of experience in media industry to his new role.
Prior to this move, Roy had a brief stint with Zee Media as Cluster National Head, where he handled the All India National Revenue of nine channels of Zee Media (Zee Hindustan, Zee 24Ghanta, Zee Rajasthan, Zee UPUK, Zee MPCG, Zee PHH, Zee Zee DNH, Zee Salam, Zee Bihar Jharkhand) and the entire Government Business of all 14 channels of the Network.
Before joining Zee Media, Roy held the position of EVP & Revenue Head – New Business at TCM Sports in 2021. In this role, he was responsible for developing and driving the Revenue strategies for the New Business verticals, including Digital platforms, Branded content opportunities in Sports, New IPs & Sports Events, Media Partnership – Agencies & Media Owners, and In-stadia sales across the country.
Prior to his maiden association with TCM Sports, Roy worked with Network18 as EVP – Revenue Management for over three years. He joined the company in 2014 as National Revenue Head for CNBC Awaaz, CNBC Bajar, IBN7, and IBN Lokmat.
Roy began his career with ZEEL in 1998 and worked as Senior Manager – Sales in his last role before moving to ABP Network as Regional Manager in 2005. He spent eight years with ABP, where he served as Business Head – Events & Special Features in his last role. In 2013, he joined Neo Sports Broadcast as SVP – Ad Revenue.
