Manipal Hospitals has launched the Happy Rebirth campaign to honor doctors’ life-saving work and celebrate patients’ second chances at life. The campaign, which spans three years, aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by doctors and foster a better understanding between medical professionals and the public.
In 2021, the focus of the campaign was on exposing the violence experienced by doctors in India and questioning societal attitudes. In 2022, the narrative shifted to highlight the trust issues faced by patients and emphasise the compassionate care provided by doctors despite being judged for their decisions.
This year, Manipal Hospitals concludes the campaign by showcasing emotional patient stories through a film, patient activities, and hospital activations. As a part of the campaign, patients expressed their gratitude towards doctors by updating their social media bios with their rebirth dates and sharing inspiring rebirth stories.
