JMF Association, an industry body representing 206 small and medium size INS accredited agencies has joined hands with Times Internet to launch a workshop in order to help traditional advertising agencies to adopt the digital transformation.
The JMF Association is working towards the overall growth of advertising agencies by creating a platform where knowledge is shared and resources are utilized optimally.
In its pursuit of knowledge, the JMF Association recently joined hands with the Times Internet team in creating a digital workshop for traditional agencies to go digital. Puneet Gupt, COO of Times Internet welcomed the advertising agencies to the workshop rightly titled “Onboarding traditional agencies to digital meet”.
52% of Indians (759 million active users) used digital as of 2022. It’s no surprise that digital media contributed the highest share of advertising in the country. The workshop showcased not only the growth of Times Internet but also how it has enabled its users to take informed decisions and how it entertained 571+ million users globally every month.
A young and energetic team of Times Internet – Abhita Anand, Pooja Vij, and Dheeraj Sharma answered every query raised by the advertising fraternity. Some 22 traditional advertising agencies attended the workshop and came out enlightened after a 2-hour session.
Concluding the meeting, Raman Kumar Chugh, founder of the JMF Association, said, “Most of the JMF Association members have been in the industry for more than two decades. They understand the nuances of traditional media like dailies, television, and outdoor very well but when it comes to the dynamic world of digital the masters tend to become learners.”
“Like Stephen Hawking once said that the greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. Keeping this in mind JMF Association will continue on its path of spreading knowledge and making its members more empowered so that they can take more informed decisions.” added Chugh.
The JMF Association currently represents 206 small and medium size INS accredited agencies who together account for an annual advertising billing of Rs 2500 crore appx.
The JMF Association incorporates advertising agencies that strive hard in establishing a healthy relationship between media and agencies. It works with all the major constituents of the advertising world from publishers, broadcasters, agencies, and clients to create a healthy ecosystem that is beneficial for all.
