Shortlists for the Media Abby of the Abby One Show Awards, winners of which will be feted at Goafest 2023 to be hosted from 24 to 26 May, have been revealed.
Among companies whose campaigns have been entered and shortlisted, HUL has the maximum at 31, with brands Dove (8), Kwality Walls (6), Boost (7), Bru and Domex (3 each), and Horlicks and Lakme (2 each) chipping in.
Entries based on campaigns for Coca Cola’s beverage brands led by Thums Up (10), Coca Cola (9), Sprite (7), Maaza and Costa Coffee (one each) account for 28 shortlists.
Entries based on Amazon Prime Video campaigns accounted for 17 shortlists, leading Amazon brands to 24 shortlists aided by work on Amazon, Amazon Fresh and Alexa.
Entries for work done on Bournvita, Dairy Milk, 5 Star and other Cadbury brands add up to parent Mondelez India’s 21 shortlists.
Entries based on Disney Star group campaigns have 13 hopefuls for metal in the Media Abby 2023 competition, across Star Sports (5), Hotstar (4), Broadcast (2) and Studio (2),
Work on Asian Paints accounted for 12 shortlists while OnePlus and Spotify work have nine each in the race for metal.
P&G brands also have nine shortlists in the running, led by Whisper (5), Gillette (2) and work on Duracell and Ariel.
Viacom18 group brands’ nine shortlists are for campaigns for Digital (4), Colors (3) and Sports18.
Entries based on Google India campaigns have seven shortlists with Search (7) and Pixel campaigns contributing.
Entries for work on ITC Foods have seven shortlists, with campaigns on Aashirvaad (4), Sunfeast (2) and Bingo in the reckoning.
Six entries each for work on Tanishq and Skoda are in the race, as are five each for Dell, Tata Motors and McDonald’s campaigns.
