#TheElephantWhisperers
Director Kartiki Gonsalves and EP Guneet Monga, the lead team behind ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ that did India proud at the Oscars, are deservedly still in the news. In a string of interactions ranging from ones with the media to one with the President of India, they come across as stately symbols of the independent film fraternity. No airs, no negativity, feet firmly on the ground. Voicing poignant thoughts that could only come from a clear mind. In Monga and Gonsalves, talent meets poise and offers valuable lessons for some of the mainstream stars of cinema, in India and beyond.

#PepsiLogo
So Pepsi has a new logo after 14 years. Everyone and her aunt has an opinion on it. Some informed and enriching to read. Others, not so. Nevertheless, the world of branding had some amusement, thanks to the carbonated soft drink brand’s new identity.
In a move that marks its first major rebrand in 15 years, Pepsi has unveiled a new #Logo that represents a paradigm shift towards a more health-conscious direction with a retro aesthetic https://t.co/0AL4j1aIU9#creativegaga #Twitter #design #GraphicDesign #Pepsi #SaturdayMood pic.twitter.com/GwFteCfLYh

#AprilFoolsDay
When an occasion like 1st April is taken over virtually by icons of popular Korean culture, you know it’s mainstream. That’s what has happened. ‘Naatu Naatu’ and ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ are great and we are proud of them, but there is something for every age group today from K-Pop to K-Serials. It also helps to ride the hashtag when you have a concert on 1st April. But why are we lapping up Korean entertainment? The answers might give ours wings.
Elsewhere, #Sadhguru and #Chingles give us a dose of indigenous April Fools Day entertainment.

#TwoStepVerification
So Paulo Coelho is off, refusing to pay for a blue tick that he already has on Twitter. Like millions of others, his two-step verification via SMS has been disabled. It’s available only for verified users (who have to pay). Was that just a threat or is Coelho really off Twitter? At this rate, there might be quite a few exits from the micro-blogging platform. If these trends continue, we may have to start posting from Facebook and Koo in the Weekend Rewind. Will miss some of these gems though – check out the third tweet below.

He really just wants people to stop using the app so why not. Can’t show up in for you pages, can’t vote in polls, can’t protect your account w two step verification unless you pay money. All around, he just wants us to pay for the incredible loss he’s taken from buying Twitter. https://t.co/cG89CAdmyM

#MahsaAmini #WomanLifeFreedom
A picture of the parents of Mahsa Amini in the corridor of a hospital, when the news about their daughter’s death was broken to them, has been declared the ‘Photo of the year’ in Iran. The photographer, Niloofar Hamedi, 30, has been in prison for her reporting on Amini’s death ever since. You cannot make this up. And you cannot look the other way. Do something. Anything you can.
