Brands celebrate Christmas by spreading the ‘joy of giving’ with warm campaigns.
Brands featured are iThrive, Wiggles, Carry My Pet, Nutella and Columbia Pacific Communities.
iThrive
The Pune-based health and wellness start-up iThrive has launched a new Christmas campaign #SpreadTheSpiritofHealth. The film depicts people making positive health changes and resultantly inspiring their peers to do the same. It shows how a positive change made by someone can inspire another person, who then further inspires more people, thus creating a ripple effect of positive health changes in society.
This Christmas, iThrive wants to focus on the small things we as a society can do to improve our health and the health of our loved ones. Diet and lifestyle changes are not made in a single day, it’s a step-by-step process and one that we can help each other through.
Wiggles
Wiggles, homegrown pet care brand ushers Christmas cheer and a season that particularly celebrates the ‘Joy of Giving’, #WinterWithWiggles encouraging active participation from pet parents and non-pet parents and promotes a pet-inclusive Christmas season.
Wiggles conducted a drive to donate food to over 400+ dogs and cats, 30 water bowls and 25 dog beds were donated to the ones in need. Extending this effort, Wiggles introduces a first ever Secret Santa campaign for estranged and orphaned dogs in association with Make New Life NGO. The NGO is a safe sanctuary for dogs who are old, and victims of cruelty. Through the initiative, one can choose to be a Santa by donating in kind from an Amazon Wishlist consisting of food, treats, supplements and other items of need or directly in cash. Picking up from where it left last, Wiggles re-launches its Christmas Carol – Wiggles Bells in a refreshing new avatar. The carol is sure to create a fun environment for furry babies and also allows pet parents to get a chance to include pets in the most unique way.
Carry My Pet
Carry My Pet, India’s trusted pet relocation company, launched a Christmas campaign to provide stray dogs with sweaters this winter. As a part of the campaign, the company conducted a drive where its employees donated their old jackets and sweaters to create dog sweaters. The team then took to the streets to put them on the strays, who were looking for the same love and warmth directed towards the pets.
During winters, most stray dogs either hide underneath vehicles or debris at construction sites to stay warm, making them prone to injuries. Carry My Pet’s initiative is aimed at raising awareness among people to think about the strays as it will not only protect them from the chilly weather but also reduce the risk of getting injured.
Nutella
Nutella, the original and popular hazelnut cocoa spread from the brand of Ferrero, launched its new Christmas and New year campaign, ‘Nutella With Love’. To make the celebrations even more special this year, Nutella has also introduced a limited edition of ‘Xmas Special’ jars that can be personalized and reused as DIY craft decorations. Nutella collaborated with Michelin star Chef Vikas Khanna to develop Christmas special recipe with Nutella.
Columbia Pacific Communities
To celebrate the contributions made by the support staff and frontline workers across its communities, Columbia Pacific Communities, the largest and most preferred senior living community operator, launched a one-of-its-kind Christmas initiative #ReverseTheJoy and thanked them for their relentless hard work. Centred on the message of spreading positivity and gratitude, it brought together 15 seniors from Serene Urbana by Columbia Pacific, Bangalore, who planned a surprise for the support staff as a token of gratitude for taking care of them throughout the year.
Given that Christmas is the season of gifting, they also had Christmas gifts for each of the support staff, given to them by an in-house Santa.
For the initiative, the seniors took charge of the community kitchen, usually used by the staff to cook meals for residents, and prepared a surprise Christmas feast for 90+ workers. They used their culinary skills to prepare sumptuous 12-course menu to mark the 12 days of Christmas
